Yenagoa—Technical Adviser to the Bayelsa State Governor on Special Duties (East), Hon. Nathaniel Ngo Sylva has hailed Governor Douye Diri for his commitment to commence the Nembe-Brass road project in April 2022.

In a statement made available to mangrovepen.ng, Sylva said Diri has shown that he is not only committed to the Nembe-speaking people but the entire Bayelsa East and the state in general.

He noted that by Diri’s sheer commitment to start the construction of the Nembe-Brass road, the governor deserves all the support from the people of Bayelsa East for his second-term campaign.

He maintained that Diri since ascending office is running an all-inclusive government, this Sylva added, is evident in the projects the governor has undertaken across the state.

Sylva, a former Brass Local Government Chairman, also commended the governor for executing the newly commissioned Elebele bridge and Nembe Unity bridge, adding that the prosperity government’s drive to improve the state’s infrastructure is second to none.

While urging the state governor to continue on his part of developing the state, Sylva charged Diri to pay no heed to detractors as many of such people are only out to put his name in a bad light.

The technical adviser urged the people of Bayelsa east and Bayelsans in general to continue supporting Governor Douye Diri in his drive to administer good governance in the interest of all and sundry.

Mangrovepen.ng recalls that Governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa State recently reaffirmed the commitment of the state government to commence the construction of the long-abandoned Nembe-Brass road.
