Yenagoa—Bayelsa content creator and comedian, Odumgele PrayGod Moses popularly known as Comedian Laffsyrup has criticized singer Erena Blaq for allegedly impugning the character of popular comedian and event host, MC Senibo in his newly released song.
The Bayelsa singer in his new single titled December 21st (a message to Senibo) had in the lyrics slammed MC Senibo for allegedly disrespecting him.
Blaq also in the song accused the ace comedian of denying him the right to perform in a recent show where his name was already on the list of performing artistes.
In his track, Blaq stated that “since you get the lawyers then let the court decide because if I pull up in your crib it’s gonna be f**king homicide. You tried to barricade nigar.
“Bro my name is on the list cos I called you out and you tried to threaten your niggar with the police. What the f**k you took me for?” (Sic)
Reacting to the development, comedian laffsyrup said it was disrespectful for Blaq to call out MC Senibo the way he did.
The comedian advised Blaq to rather prioritize promoting his music outside the shores of the state instead of insulting senior colleagues in the entertainment industry.
Comedian Laffsyrup who recently won the Bayelsa Media Network Awards (BMNA) as the best comedian of the year 2021 also cautioned Blaq to stop being controversial with the intent to gain popularity.
He said in pidgin English, “no price market wey you no go fit buy. No, be every market dem dey price. If na Senibo be your problem for Yenagoa, believe me bro, e go shock you.
“Before you come to insult Senibo in your wack song, try promote your music to pass Mbiama junction.
“I believe that your teeth don strong to eat the beef wey you don price.
“I have listened to your song, you are not even an upcoming because the upcoming I have listened to their songs and are more dope than yours.” (Sic)
The comedian further said that “I understand the fact that you are trying to use Senibo’s name to gain recognition to attract fans to you but that’s the wrongest move that you just made.
“I advise you to be humble so that you will go far because if you start your music career to disrespect Senibo believe me, you are no match for what is coming.” (Sic)
