Yenagoa—The Bayelsa State Judiciary is set to hold a valedictory thanksgiving service in honour of the outgoing Chief Judge of Bayelsa State, Hon. Justice Kate Abiri (CON).
The event is scheduled to take place on Sunday, 8th January 2023 by 10:00 am at Greater Evangelism World Crusade, Opolo, Yenagoa.
Subsequently, a public lecture will be held in her honour on Thursday, 12th January 2023 by 11:00 am at the Chief D.S.P. Alamieyeseigha Banquet Hall, Government House.

According to the organizers, a valedictory court session will also be held on Friday, 13th January 2023 by 10:00 am at the High Court Complex.
Reception and book presentation will take place by 1:00 pm at the Chief D.S.P. Alamieyeseigha Banquet Hall, Government House.
