Abuja—A socio-political organization, the Amaechi Support Group has commended the former Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi for putting on an impressive performance at the just concluded presidential primary of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The group described the former minister as a leader with true leadership qualities.
In a statement signed by its National Coordinator, Comrade Ibrahim Dahiru Danfulani and Dauseighe Bowei South/South Zonal Coordinator on Wednesday, the group thanked party delegates who voted for Amaechi.

“We are using this opportunity to thank everyone that supported, prayed, worked for and voted our aspirant, Rt. Honourable Amaechi.
“We as a support group are deeply proud of the true leadership example of our principal, His Excellency, Rt. Hon Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi, for his resilience and bold efforts.
“We celebrate his consistent faithful commitment and patriotism to Nigeria and demonstration of true courage,” the statement reads in part.
The group appreciated Amaechi for his dedication and support for members of the group in the just concluded APC convention.
They equally thanked His Excellency Ambassador Tukur Yusufu Buratai for giving necessary support to the group.
