Port Harcourt—Rivers state governor Nyesom Wike is set to appoint three new commissioners.
Rhythm 93.7 reports that the move comes barely one week after the governor dissolved the State Executive Council.
Already, Governor Wike has sent three names to the Rivers state house of assembly for screening and confirmation.

Two of the nominees were Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governorship aspirants in the just concluded primary election.
They are George Kelly and Isaac Kamalu.
The other nominee is a returnee, Zacchaeus Adangor, SAN who served as the commissioner for Justice and Attorney General in the dissolved cabinet.
