Yenagoa—The Special Assistant to the Bayelsa State Governor on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Dr. Ebiwari Wariowei has been honoured with the award of International Peace Advocate and Ambassador of Peace by the United Nations Polac Foundation.
In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Pereokosifa Buseni, the governor’s aide appreciated the United Nations Polac Foundation for the honour.
According to him, the reward for hard work is more hard work and assured that he will remain dedicated to the service of Bayelsa State.
Wariowei dedicated the award to Governor Douye Diri, stating that he has shown uncommon passion and commitment toward the growth and development of the state, with a special focus on youth empowerment and capacity development.

He further urged youths to shun vices inimical to their growth and success in their chosen field of endeavour, assuring that the SDGs Office will continue to provide the platform for skill acquisition for the youths to be self-sustaining.
Wariowei was last week also honoured by the organizers of the Bayelsa Media Awards in the ‘Vision Driver Category’ alongside three other personalities for his impactful leadership and contributions to Bayelsa State.
